HI! I am Ben, I have worked over 30-years in Corporate America as a Global Corporate Account Director, managing major companies. I grew up in central Florida and traveled the world with carrier and for pleasure. I have since retired from my corporate job in 2019 and came to work for Melissa at the beginning of 2020. Here at the Agency, I help to manage the agency offices. I also have a major role in developing the commercial insurance business within the agency including commercial business insurance, commercial auto insurance and general contractor’s insurance policies. I am licensed to handle auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, health insurance and any commercial insurance needs in Georgia. Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina. Hi! I am Melissa Shepherd aka “CeCe”. I have worked in the State Farm “neighborhood” since 2010. I am the office manager for our Rome Office, and I have over 10 years of management experience. I have a Property & Casualty license and a Life & Health license in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida. A little about me personally- My nickname comes from the fact that I could not say Melissa when I was little, so I always said my name was Sissa. CeCe is my nephew’s version of Sissa. I have a bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance and Church Music-which I use on a volunteer basis. I have other artistic hobbies including knitting, and art journaling. I enjoy getting outside for a nature walk and I am an avid reader. My advice for someone wanting to join our team would be to know how you learn. There is a steep learning curve, so understanding how you learn is an asset. Alex began his insurance career in 2018 and he provides excellent customer service. He has been with us for over 3 years. He is licensed in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Hi! I am Yvette and I work primarily in our Calhoun, Georgia office. I was first interested in the insurance industry when my youngest child started school. I have now been a licensed producer for 10 years! I am licensed in Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health. Hi! I am Joshua Storey our Operations Manager - I’ve been with State Farm Since October of 2022. I have worked in the hospitality fields at many hotels and restaurants, and I was looking for another way to serve others but also gain back my nights and weekends. I have had the great pleasure of learning, educating, and providing exceptional service at this State Farm agency since August of 2020. I had never even considered insurance as a job that would suit me, but somehow I ended up getting lucky and learning my way around the industry. I am Multi-Lingual and can speak English, Spanish, and German Fluently. I am also a Multi-State Licensed Producer which allows me to solicit all forms of Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health Insurance within the States of Georgia, Tennessee, & Alabama. I am a very dedicated & passionate person in anything I do especially when it comes to my line of work. I am a problem solver, & work well under pressure. My career with State Farm began as I was graduating high school. I am licensed in property, casualty, life, and health insurance and have many certifications with State Farm. The skills that I contribute to our office is my management background, customer service experience, communication skills, and knowledge of our products and processes. I enjoy each team member I work with; I love being able to lead and coach them and I take a lot of pride in their successes. Morgan serves as one of our Remote Service Representatives. She has been a member of the State Farm Neighborhood for over 5 years, and has been with our team since 2022.
